Created in 2007, this atypical vintage contrasts with the codes of Sancerre; it is converted into wine for 8 months in acacia barrels that have aged for 1 to 5 years. This wine-making process gives it its floral notes.

This wine is made with grapes from the east-facing terres blanches of Pente des Émois, which give rich wines (less so than the Amigny slopes).

     tasting

A very pale golden crystalline colour with green hints. An exotic, very opulent nose, marked not just by notes of gentian, kaffir lime, passion fruit, ginger and acacia flower. The mouthfeel is ethereal, crisp then soft, with aromatic persistence.

Serving suggestions: a carpaccio of scallops and small spider Accras-acacia flower.
